The Sun Inn

Excellent place to stay in a stunning little village. We had the room with the onsuite and it was all you could need for an excellent price.especially as with a nice bar downstairs you could happily avoid being in your room all evening. Parking around the back was convenient. And the breakfast was excellent

Breakfast time slot of upto 9am to order was abit early but not a big issue, and as I said in the good parts review it was excellent with great quantity

The Sun Inn is in the centre of a beautiful little Village and the manager was very helpful and friendly.

We were very dissapointed withb The Sun Inn this time we have stayed at the Inn many times in the past years. It used to be a very friendly and comfortable.Our room was quite small as there had been an en suite taken out of the room size. Of which the shower had nowhere to put shampoo etc while having a shower. Also we were looking forward to a lovely evening meal to be told that food was no longer available. Such a shame for a lovely little Pub. I cant see that it will still be there in a years time, the manager did tell us that the Inn had been up for sale for over 2 years. Whoever buys it will need to spend a lots of money to bring it up to scratch but then it will be a little gold mine.

Nice old pub. Rooms were small but thats what's expected in an old pub. Staff were welcoming and very helpful. Rooms and bedding were clean.

Could do with some new towels as they were looking a bit ragged

Nice shower, good toilet paper, great breakfast and a lovely bar. Beautiful country side. Enjoyed my stay. Will be back.

Nice little pub. Friendly staff and customers in the bar. There is only one room with ensuite which is a bit small, other rooms are larger but common toilets etc. As it is at the front of the pub there can be noise from passing vehicles which ordinarily would not be a problem but for the cobbled streets which make them more noticeable. Breakfast is excellent but only served from 8.30 to 9am. Not so good if you want a lie in. Back door key available if you stay out late.

Room was a bit small.
