"A nice place to stay while exploring the best of Split."

The Leonis is really as the name suggests; a restaurant, with some rooms to rent above. The restaurant serves excellent, although slightly expensive, food. The location is quite good for exploring the old city. As in many places in Croatia, it does require the ability to navigate stairs.

The service was limited compared to other places we stayed in Croatia (the staff was dividing duties between the restaurant and the hotel section). Also, the room was a little louder than others, again because of the presence of the restaurant downstairs.

Das Hotel ist auf dem Boden des Diocletian-Palastes, d.h., allerbeste Lage, und sehr originell in ein altes Haus eingebaut, dadurch hat es sehr viel Atmosphäre. Eine tolle Zugabe ist das Restaurant, in dem Hotelgäste einen Rabatt bekommen. Ich habe noch nie so gut Fisch gegessen und bin selten so freundlich und kompetent bedient worden. Jederzeit wieder!!!
