Locanda Villa Moderna

Upon returning from Portofino, I discovered this charming village by chance, and I must say, it surpassed my expectations and rivalled the beauty of Portofino itself. From the moment I arrived, the lovely couple managing the Locanda warmly welcomed me. Their kindness and hospitality truly made my stay unforgettable. The attention to detail in every aspect of their service was exceptional, making me feel right at home. The managing couple's impeccable hospitality and the Locanda's overall charm make it a destination I would highly recommend to anyone seeking a memorable and heartwarming stay. I look forward to returning and reliving the wonderful experience.

Beautiful room, well appointed and immaculately clean. Beautiful furniture and decor. Lovely terrace with a view. Modern and efficient bathroom. Shower with temperature control. Excellent and abundant breakfast, kind and helpful hosts. Perfect location, short walking distance from all attractions in Nervi and from train station, with access to all Ligurian coast. Highly recommended. I would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was served each morning with Silwa & Matthew personally taking orders. Really nice friendly environment. The house itself is very quiet, easy walk from the train and in a very nice town that has a lovely waterfront with excellent restaurants. Our original intent was was dine in Genova but Nervi so relaxing and such a great place to return home to, we ate there each evening (excellent restaurants - they will advise based on your desire). In my opinion, Nervi is a great base for many of the surrounding towns.

There's nothing not to like. The town is great. It's a 10 min walk from train which has super easy access to Genova. The team is excellent and they really know who to run a B&B. You won't be disappointed.

Perfect location near train station, parcs & museums, comfortable and very quiet, great breakfast made to order & lots of home cooked treats, wonderful hosts.

The location is in an oasis of peace. Close to the train station and the promenade, cleanliness, exceptional hospitality, a gorgeous garden. And for breakfast, Mrs. Anna prepares tarts, cakes and homemade bread. I highly recommend this location.

Silwa’s freshly made cakes, pies, and bread were a delight. The room was well appointed and clean; the location was beautiful and only a 10 minute walk from the train station; a highlight was the balcony where we could sit and listen to the birds sing. Both Silwa and Matthew were very congenial and helpful with knowledge about the area.

A mini-fridge in our room would have been nice to keep beer and water that we bought locally.

Loved the accomadation on a private road in Nervi. Quiet , spotlessly clean , sunny garden with outside seating and wonderful home baking and cooked breakfast , bacon eggs ,waffles , focaccia and freshly baked bread. All hosted by a lovely helpful couple who spoke excellent English and who offered sightseeing advice as required. Short walk from Nervi station and prom.walk along the picturesque coast. Visited Genoa , Portofino, cinque terre and more.
