Hotel Jirisan Haetsal

Great location for getting to Hwaeomsa and Jirisan NP. Arrived quite late but key with instructions was left clearly by manager so we could easily get into our room. Room warm and clean with good views up the valley. Plenty of restaurants and a convenience store just down the valley for supplies.

Plastic undersheet made the bed a little uncomfortable. Early season for this hotel so difficult to fully judge the amenities (e.g. no food).

The hotel is very comfortable and in a great position but most of all, our host has been the most helpful and generous hotel manager that could we could have hoped for - thank you very much!

Welcoming host and beautiful room

The owner is very pleasant, welcoming and very helpful! I love my room! there is nothing lacking in the room for an enjoyable and stress free stay. The atmosphere and vibe of the room is very relaxing and the sound of water in the stream is very nice. I was able to sleep very well for 2 nights after a stressful week. For serious hikers, the trail to Nogodan peak is very accessible from the hotel. You do not need a car to get to the jump off point at the Hwaeomsa Temple. I will surely come back and stay at this hotel for a longer period of time.

The property itself was good, quiet and clean. I wish there are more things to do around the area. My main purpose was to visit a temple nearby, so it was perfect for me.

Hotel employee was exceptionally kind, and the room was spacious and clean.
