The staff were very friendly and accommodating

Nice rooms ,fresh towels ,nice bed and linen . Reserved parking .

We did not order breakfast. We knew we booked a popular pub so noise is not an issue. It is a central location for easy access around Louth by foot. The car park space was assigned so we were very pleased with that. WE met the locals in the pub who were very friendly as was the lady managing the pub and the cleaners. ALL very good.

The lighting could be brighter in the bathroom.

Hello, the place is in a great location, centrally located, and has its own parking lot, which is only available to guests. Below is a typical English pub. The staff is helpful and friendly. Despite their age, the rooms are clean, comfortable, and cleaned daily.

You have to be aware that the rooms are above the pub, so it can be quite noisy on Bingo days and weekend evenings. However, it wasn't too much of a problem for me.

The Packhorse is a pub with rooms, no food available, Saturday night was noisy till 11.00 PM but that's to be expected, with Saturday being karaoke night. Good size room with large bathroom, and large TV soft beds, we have twin beds, room could do with a bit of decorating and an extra chair and small table. Staff were great.

I stayed on Friday and Saturday night and had not realised (my fault for not reading the reviews first) that there was a Karaoke on both nights, lasting until midnight. This was not ideal for a good night's sleep.
