I stayed at Hotel Lakefield with my partner for two nights, and unfortunately, it was our worst hotel experience to date. The property is old and poorly maintained, with a smelly room that made our stay uncomfortable. To make matters worse, there was no hot water available on the first morning, which was incredibly inconvenient. For the price we paid, this was far from value for money. The location is decent, but that’s about the only positive thing I can say. Everything else was a letdown. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel and certainly won’t be returning.

This place is very close to Kandy city, the lake, and the Temple of the Tooth. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It’s a great place to stay if you want a convenient and comfortable visit.

Clean and big room. Near the city center.

Nice staff with clean room. Breakfast was good. Near the down town and next to the lake.

Ants in bathroom, extra payment of bottle water during breakfast and problems with payment by VISA card(after I pay by cash in USD)
