Very Comfortable and big rooms with spectacular view. Great Breakfast from the team of Yamamoto-san. We have been greatly looked after and supported by Mitsuki-san and Tabada-san. The location is best in town with easy access to to old town and park as well as public transportation. Very cozy and relaxing stay, perfect for couples. Large and comfortable beds, big Bathroom and enough space for unpacking and storing stuff.

Everything! If we could give them the double of the maximum score, we would. The property is beautifully maintained, the rooms are super comfortable, with great views, well thought amenities and excellent beds.There are only six rooms, so it feels very cozy and personal. Distance to main sites were around fifteen minutes But, above all, there is the staff: wonderful, attentive and always warm and welcoming. Our sincere gratitude to Mizuki, who took care of us from day one; with her kind smile, she advised us and made sure we always were well taken care of. Her kindness even was extended to our guide, who was very impressed about her warm attitude. Thank you for your advice and handwritten notes, which are still accompanying us during our journey in Japan. To Mr. Yoshimasa Nasa, Manager, who was always making sure we enjoyed our stay and was extremely attentive and friendly, thank you for your kindness and care. We will definitely remember our stay in Kyoto. Without a doubt, we will returning in our next visit. And if you want to feel spoiled, this is THE place to enjoy your Kyoto visit.

An oasis of peace in the heart of the city. Everything is perfect, every corner has wonderful details, every common room (including the breakfast and tea rooms) is amazing. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. But what truly makes the stay unforgettable is the hotel staff. They are highly professional, kind and attentive to their guests' needs. A truly special place, where you'll find truly special people to welcome you.
