Willowbank Hotel

I stayed in a small double room, room only, for one midweek night in June and paid £100. The hotel is undeniably dated, especially the bedroom décor, bar/lounge and bathroom fittings. The room would benefit from modernisation, particularly more accessible plug sockets, as I could only see one under the desk. The TV was tiny, although it worked, and the shower was old-fashioned, with separate hot and cold controls rather than a thermostatic mixer. However, if you look past the dated appearance, I found it reasonable for a 3-star hotel. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. The shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water, once adjusted. Wi-Fi was available and fast enough for YouTube streaming. I did not have breakfast as I was room only, but I did eat in the hotel in the evening. The food was simple rather than refined, but it arrived piping hot and was perfectly acceptable. The hostess could not have been nicer, and the welcome was very warm. Overall, this is not a modern or stylish hotel, and it clearly needs investment, but it was clean enough, comfortable, functional, and genuinely friendly. On that basis, I felt it deserved a positive review, provided future guests understand that the rooms are traditional and dated rather than contemporary.

Nothing I wanted Millport 130 pounds 2 single beds a cot and a dbl I didn't ask for that no breakfast no microwave or toaster decaf coffee poor service would not go back dissatisfaction with booking. Com as well
