Quick Stop Inn

The bed was pretty nice, the location was really good if you are planning to go by train.

Seemed lika a lot of things in the room was broken or on the verge of breaking, but still working condition.

The only good thing about this property is the location close to the train station

The name of the hotel is different from the one booked on booking.com and couldn't find it easily.. we asked around and not even the staff themselves know about the name quick stop inn which is rather fishy. We finally managed to check in and when we got to take a shower there was no hot water. We spoke to the staff about this and told us he would fix it but did not even bother to check if it was working and it never did. After a day of travelling we had to take a freezing shower. After all this before going to sleep we found cockroaches running around inside the room which we had to get rid of ourselves. The restaurant on the roof serves very blend and inedible food which is also expensive conpared to other good restaurants around. That being said the price of the room was not the cheapest compared to other hotels around with better service. Would not recommend it to anyone looking for a good rest and nice hot shower.

Good and tasteful breakfast, helpful restaurant staff.

Very used hotel. Rooms needs asap refurbishment. A lot of insects in a room. Damaged furniture, toilet, dirty and very bad smell. Reception staff is very rude and is not willing to help anyhow.

Very good for a quick stop in Kandy

I think it was good overall for a “one night” as a transit location. The location is close from the station but very much in the noisy city

One of the best hotel and best price

I totally recommend this place. I stayed only one night, but the room was spacious and clean, well equipped, with huge terrace and nice view to mountains. Ok, the sign with name is different, but it shouldn't be a problem to find the place, map location is proper and it's only one hotel there. The guy from the reception desk Kasun was friendly and they will definitely help with arranging anything needed. I can recommend the driver, Mr. Nadith. Try to arrange some tour with him as he is also a guide, has huge knowledge and the conversation with him was very nice and interesting. There is a cool rooftop terrace with restaurant - there were pretty many locals eating there and food was very good. Location of this place is only a few minutes by walk from the train station and the Kandy temple.

The only one inconvenience were monkeys or other animals running over the roof during night, but it wasn't that much disturbing.

We had a place to sleep.

Name is totally different than shown on booking.com, there is no sign at all and it was really hard finding the place. A lot of monkeys were under the roof, running around during the night - this was super loud and so it wasn‘t really relaxing.

Good and spacious room. Clean bathroom. Very fine sarounding

Very interior please and difficult to locate.
