Return stay at this great quirky old hotel in the middle of Arthur’s Pass. Friendly staff and a great yesteryear feel to the place with great history.

Staff were super friendly, helpful and proud to work at the hotel, and happy to share all their knowledge about its history and the towns history. It’s eclectic, so much to see and explore on both levels of the venue. Nice to have access to free pool table and juke box on site. Loads of photo opportunities. Rooms were comfortable.

Such a quirky, interesting, and lovely place to stay and should be a tourist attraction in its own right. We loved our stay, made even more enjoyable by the lovely staff. We will definitely be back.

Staff were friendly & knowledgeable about the area. The accommodation is iconic meaning it is steeped in history & full of quirky items from NZ History. The scenery around the Hotel is simply breathtaking!

The property is unique and has old world charm

The hygiene and cleanliness was not up to the mark. If the place is tidied up with good quality furnishings, it could be high up on the market.

The Idea to make a vintage Stagecoach Hotel is nice. Dinner and Breakfast was good. The ensuite room was ok, relative new ceiling with stucco. Style related furnishing. Mattress was comfy.

Even if most of the stuff to explore in the building is somehow antique or funny, it is too much in my opinion. Some corners ar just packed with stuff and it looks messy and is dirty. Ceilings and corners in the rooms and hallways weren't too clean.
