Mouldy bathroom Right next to a bar that plays music until 5am Shower flooded the bathroom

AVOID. The room STANK. I thought for ages the smell was a horse as my eyes were itchy and presumed the previous occupant had horses. I used a towel to cover the stinking chair. The mattress was severely soggy in places but I was lucky it was just me. BUT THE NOISE!!! The hotel is not adequately soundproofed. The first night was normal nightlife, late music and drunken excited people, I could sleep through that. But the second the noise must have been illegal, it shook the floors. It seeped in the windows and the base could not be muffled by earplugs. It was horrendous and went on till 3am. I went on line and seen others had complained. I wrote to the hotel who obviously knew this to be normal. I have complained to booking.com that they shouldnt have this blatantly inadequate hotel on their site though to be fair this isnt the first terrible place I have found on here.

Amazing location, cool atmosphere, good facilities and friendly staff. After reading the reviews I was a bit scared of the noise from the train tracks, but it was bearable for me personally, same with the noise from the nearby pubs. They do provide earplugs but if you’re a deep sleeper you’ll be fine

No ac, window didn’t open fully and the room got very hot at times. The code to the front door changes daily which we weren’t told about so it was quite stressful when it wouldn’t open and the bar was closed.
