Very nice place all the 3 brothers host us like old friends very polite... Very recommended for everything.

We are so happy for choosing gold ibis for our one-week stay at Luxor. From the first moment we enter the hotel, we felt at home. All the staff is more than nice, friendly, familiar and you can feel a really nice atmosphere there. A super big thanks to all of you, Mahmoud and his brother are the best person ever. They spend a lot of time taking care of us, especially with our little son, they always had a big smile to him, and we really appreciate this. We also had dinner there, and the food was amazing. The room was super big, and even Mahmoud asked us to change for a bigger one without charges. They helped us with the laundry and more things. We loved Luxor and one part of this is because of Mahmoud`s hospitality. A picture with the car that Mahmoud gave to our son, a super nice detail <3 . THANKS!!! shukran !!

Great value for money. Breakfast very tasty. Clean room. Close to restaurants. We had good information about what to do and what to see around. It is possible to book tour with the guest house at fair price. We would definitely recommend it.

Wonderful owner and staff bending over backward to make sure one has a memorable stay. The owner helped me with getting a SIM card and booking tours. The room is huge with a queen size bed. You can see wonderful sunsets up on the rooftop dining area. I had two delicious dinners staying three nights. The portions were huge! Was served traditional Egyptian food for breakfasts. Enjoyed sitting outside by the bon fire at night (bring marshmallows). January is a good time to visit. Not hot! Also it is in a quiet location away from traffic noise.

Scam. Con man. Very Rude. Bad person. It is not IBIS hotel. It is a house. Airb&b. Dirty filthy cold room with no heater. Dirty bathroom , almost cold water. Only one towel for two person. Blanket was thin and dirty. Hairs on bed sheets, pillow case and on blankets. Breakfast was a joke. Cold tortilla bread with some sauce. Asking $30 us for airport shuttle, where as you can get them for $10 or max $15 from other company. Far from everything. Tour he offers are scam too. He offers day trips for full day, but places are fixed by him and only 4 places you can visit. There are lots to see in East and West Bank. If you booked your tour you will see only few. What a waste of time and money. Me and my husband are living in Canada and a frequent traveller. Visited 50 /60 countries in last 20 years. Never felt so humiliated and disrespected by any hotel owner. He took all the money at the very day. After first day of appointment for the tours, we wanted to visit with other companies. As a traveller you want to spend your time and money wisely, so you can have some satisfaction from your trip. I tried to cancel for the 2nd day and asked for return 750 Egyptian for the next day and 350 for the airport transfer, which supposed to be done after 2nd day trip. He declined to refund and after many arguments and disrespect he gave us only $550 back. 50% only. I believe that god will take much more from him some day, because of his wrong doing. His driver also a bad person. We went to a restaurant “El Sayeda Zainab Restaurant” for lunch and paid the bills. Excellent food , that’s why didn’t pay attention to the bill. Restuarant owner was very good person, excellent behaviour and food. We went to the same restaurant the 2nd day with our different company tour driver. The owner of the restaurant mentioned that yesterday that other driver was so bad that, he insisted them to charge extra bills from me, so he can take some of our money from the bill.

Facilities

Very clean, awesome staff, comfy mattress, exceptional terrace. After check out they stored our backpack, once back they gave us hot water for our next breakfast.
