Position in town, meal, staff helpful.

Steep stairs made carrying bags hard work.

The rooms are very clean however small. King bed though was super comfortable

No shower door, so bathroom flooded when I showered. While lying in bed in my underwear, someone put a key in the door and started to open it. I jumped up and ran and blocked the door. A staff member had a whole collection of keys, claimed they had new keys they had to try out. Why not knock first??? No way to lock door to prevent anyone with a key from walking in.

I liked that it was convenient for my needs.

I stayed over the weekend, while I didn't so much mind the noise of the bands/singers, it was the open window in the entrance stairs way, and the open door at the end of tje adjacent hallwau tjat let in the smell of cigaret smokets the entire time. I think they should look into closing both.

The pub has great character, a wonderful step back in time and the room was modernised with an ensuite, a nice convenience. The bed was super comfy.

Unfortunately the roll down blind didn’t retract in room 6 so there was no natural light coming in but that’s not an issue at night for sleeping.
