Conyngham Arms Hotel

The staff were exceptional, very friendly, helpful and polite. Breakfast was very good and the evening meal was also very enjoyable. First impression, the room looked great. However the bathroom was the most disappointing. It had a rusty radiator, broken floor tiles, stained bath as well as poor paintwork. The toilet is so close to the wall, you have to sit slightly to the side, and gents have to hold the seat up to pee. This room was badly laid out and very noisy. The whole hotel needs an update, the common areas showed signs of paint bubbling and peeling particularly on window sills. It just looked very tired and 'overcast'.

Very pleasant. Appreciated the upgrade in the room - we did not request they just did it. Restaurant good food and value

WiFi weak on the 3rd floor and the toilets have issues

Notre chambre donnait sur la rue principale qui est passante durant le jour. Il y a eu un soucis avec l’eau chaude, nous avons pris une douche froide …

Le restaurant sur place le soir, le parking gratuit

Pas d'eau chaude oblige d'aller dans un autre hôtel pour se doucher.. Si nous n'avions rien dit on ne se l'a avait pas.. Déco trop vieille, lit trop mou, chambre donnant sur le toit ou il y avait la clim, mais pas dans la chambre donc impossible d'ouvrir la fenêtre

Arrived on a lovely sunny day and sat outside with a lovely cold beer and a pretty good meal. Good beds.

Beginning to look a little run down. No warm water.

Great location, very comfortable, staff really helpful

My son booked 24 people in for a pre wedding dinner giving several months notice. We were allocated one staff member to do the drinks order, as in pulling the pints and also take a food order. A guest stood at the bar for half an hour, it took 90 minutes for the last starter to be served. Food was of a good standard.
