Hotel Garni Caroline

very nice family hotel. excellent service, clean well designed rooms great breakfast meal and a best location - a few meters from the elevator that leads to the underground escalator to the ski lift and main street.

The 2 bedroom apt we stayed (just a handful of them available and all assigned to Russian tour operators) was clean, functioning, modern, with well though out amenities, reading lights, bed side storage, heating units and good location very close to the elevator that links to the under passage and the lifts. The Spa on the lower floors is convenient, clean, well featured. Minuses are: 1) a housekeeping service that comes always before 9.30 am and keeps coming (annoying) and does not understand English. 2) The young owner (daughter) is abrupt, not friendly, not customer service oriented, felt bad asking her for service. 3) The fridge in the apt is too small 4) the stove top cooking rings impossible to figure out 5) Lots of TV channels, but no English ones. 5) Bed mattress too soft, caves in a bit
