CITY STAY Апарт-Отель Алматы

The hotel location is excellent, about half a mile from the center in a quiet are on the hill. Is is within a walking distance to good restaurants and cafes (Del Papa and a Greek restaurant across from it), Double Coffee) and Dostyk shopping mall. Excellent trail for walking and running nearby. Cars in the city generally have bad exhaust polluting air, but because the hotel is on a hill with plenty of trees the air quality is better than downtown. Specious room, very new, modern kitchen well supplied with new pans, skillets, plates etc. Very nice staff. Room service and cafe on the premises, which is very conveniet. Breakfast of eggs, sausage porridge, veggies, coffee and tea is included and is good. Additional items are also available on the menu.

Shower water constantly changing from hot to cold, unless you take shower deep at night when nobody is using water. Bad smell in the bathroom. No sheet under blanket just one on the bed. No gym. Average food, some items were good though - breakfast and chicken ceasar. However, plenty of dining options within the walking distance. Overall, this is a good hotel and I would stay there again

The room in the CITY STAY Apart Hotel Almaty has been booked for my parents, who stayed there around 4 weeks! CITY STAY is a great hotel with exceptional service, extremely helpful and friendly personnel! We would like to personally thank Aidan, Aliya, Sophie, Aisulu, Mayra, Maxim and Danya for making the stay of my parents so nice! If we ever go to Almaty again we would definitely stay in this hotel!
