Beautiful location and a fantastic pub with rooms.

Everything was brilliant, so no negative comments

We love this place it has a real warm welcoming feel to it, stunning location, friendly staff, delicious food, nicely decorated and clean rooms. We have stayed before and will most definitely go back again!

We stayed in the Studio, the hotel was beautiful for food was exceptional. My only complaint was firstly the level of footfall noise from upstairs was a disappointment. We arrived at 3pm from a walk and was greeted with a very cold room, when we enquired about this we were told that the heating was timed and would be warm once we went to bed. apart from thois we had a good stay.

Great location: off the beaten track, authentic pub with good selection of ales and great grub. We stayed in the Barn Door room. Very well decorated, comfy bed and good quality bed linen. Excellent shower, high attention to detail all round.

Soundproofing: we could hear everything from the room upstairs! Hotel did provide ear plugs, however! We would have liked to have been able to open the bedroom window as it got a bit stuffy

Beautiful place, room was immaculate, staff wonderful, evening meal and breakfast spot on. Location was idylic.

Welcoming. Clean & comfortable. Lovely, easy to use shower. Food delicious & a good selection. Nice thoughtful touches in the room - eye mask & earplugs, a varied selection of beverages, a bottle of fresh milk and water in the fridge.

If I had to be picky then the coffee wasn’t great.

I booked this as a gift for for my parents and they had a lovely stay. The staff were very welcoming, the room was impeccably furnished and they enjoyed their meal.
