Please note that the hotel can only be reached by aerial cableway from Kriens. The last ride is at 17:00 in summer until the end of October and at 16:00 in winter. Please check the schedules in advance. The hotel can also be reached by cogwheel train from Alpnachstad, except during the winter season. Please check the schedules in advance. The aerial cableways may be temporarily inoperable in case of strong winds. The tickets for ascent and descent can be purchased at a discounted rate if you show your booking confirmation. The à-la-carte restaurant is only open during the day. Baby cots are only available upon request. please be informed that When booking more than 5 rooms or more than 5 people, different cancelation and prepayment policies may apply. Very good choice available at breakfast, and the four course included dinner was excellent. A set menu, with limited choices, but they were sufficient. The beef main course available on the second night menu was exceptional. The waiting staff are friendly and attentive, as was reception. The views when the weather cleared were stunning.

The weather !! It was cloudy and misty quite a bit of the time, so we could not see the spectacular views all day. (But we did see them for a few hours.)

exclusivity once public is gone for the day! having all that great space almost empty is amazing!

in-room coffee minimal, and no opportunity for coffee before 8 am. when riding for the sunrise, it would be nice to have!
