No 6 The Square Tearooms & Accommodation

We stayed 1 night for our 20th Anniversary, we really enjoyed our stay, the room was lovely and spacious, and the building it self was great. The location was ideal; we had a lovely view from our room across to the park and the opera house. We found lots of bars and restaurants nearby, and the town centre and all of Buxton's historical places were also very close. We'd definitely look to book again!

Would have liked a king sized bed

We appreciated the chef coming in early to make a nice breakfast. The room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable with a nice view of the Opera House. Location is hard to beat. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Given the time of year some black-out blinds would have made a difference. We woke at 4am with the light pouring into the room and the flimsy shades didn't make enough difference.

Parking was an issue on arrival & thereafter - there was none as there was a concert on at the Opera House across the road. Even the surrounding car parks were full. Staff were not assisting until I stated that it was listed on Booking.com as having said parking was no issue. Had to use meters every 4 hours (from 8am to 6pm) for the stay.
