Hotel Bellevue - Traditional Swiss Hideaway

Breakfast was a bit limited in quality and options, but good enough for me and the service was nice.

The directions were a bit hard to follow in the dark. It was not clear if the booking came with a ski pass or other discounts (important as the area is prohibitively expensive).

We stayed at this hotel for three nights. A very convenient option is the possibility of being picked up from the train station by someone from the hotel, as well as being driven back with luggage. This is especially helpful during the winter period, as the road to the hotel is uphill and it can be difficult, especially with larger luggage. There is a free phone with hotel numbers at the station. The hotel staff were kind and helpful throughout our stay. We chose a room with a view of Jungfrau and did not regret our choice. The view from the balcony of Wengen, the Lauterbrunnen valley, and the surrounding peaks was stunning. The room was quite spacious, comfortable, and clean. The only thing that was very bothersome in the room was the lack of an electric kettle, which I think is quite essential especially in winter when you want to warm up after returning to the hotel late in the evening. The breakfast offered by the hotel was tasty, and the selection of food was quite large. We would return to this hotel again, mainly for the beautiful views.

Hotel pays for the ski depo in the Intersport Central close to the Ski lift, this is very convenient because it is around 10 min walk on the snow.

Location is a bit far from Ski-lift, but with the ski depo it is not a problem.

Perfect location away from the center and main street noice and with the best view of the Wengen, the Alps and Lauterbrunnen Valley. Amazing service by the team from the reception, restaurant and housekeeping.

The beds were hard and uncomfortable. The sheets felt like sandpaper, staff was rude. The taxi would not accommodate our family. No TVs in room. It apparent they don’t like Americans.
