Rancho Eden

Beautiful setting. Great food. Friendly and accommodating staff.

The place is very nice, with lots of green and fruit trees surrounding the houses. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was simple but with everything you need for your stay. There are two restaurants inside the property, reachable with a short walk. We stayed one night before our flight, it is 5 minutes away from El Eden airport.

The bedding needs to be renewed, it felt overused and was smelly. Staff are very friendly, however, we had to choose between rooms — as they smelled like gasoline, we were told it was the smell of cleaning detergents. Window roller blinds are filled with dead mosquitos. Bathroom water pressure was weak especially the warmer the water is.

Where to start?! This place is truly amazing. Has lovely views, comfortable aircon rooms, hot water showers and very helpful staff. There’s also a swimming pool and an area to chill and hangout. My kids enjoyed also the playground, hammocks and variety of lush and fruit trees.

The location was wonderful, ranch style with horses roaming free and a beautiful view. An excellent breakfast was included at the restaurant on the property, reachable through a short walk on a lovely trail.

Regulating the hot water in the shower was difficult and would go cold while showering.

We enjoyed how peaceful it was and seeing the horses grazing the property everyday. The view from the pool was lovely and all in all we loved the atmosphere and the helpful, friendly staff. All the vegetation around us was beautiful and it was so nice to be a short walk away from two fantastic restaurants.

It would have been nice to have a water filter on the property like at the bar by the pool so we could fill our water bottles. We stayed in room 14, it was a nice view but I think you could definitely improve it by planting some tall shrubs to cover the apartments across the field one day :)
