Duck Bay Hotel & Restaurant

The location is excellent on the Loch with views from the restaurant, breakfast area and rooms. The staff were very friendly. Plenty of parking spaces. The breakfast was fantastic! Large selection of continental breakfast items including fresh fruit and a bean to cup coffee machine. The room was a good size and very clean.

In terms of comfort, the mattress and pillows were too hard. We could hear people in the corridors very clearly. There were random fireworks being lit just outside of our room late at night which woke us up.

The room we stayed was great and clean and situated right next door to the restaurant.

Clean and friendly staff and convenient location.

There wasn’t a lounge area we could just sit in. Our room was small and we could only sit on the bed. The mattress is very soft in the middle hence we both had to try and stay on the edge to stop rolling into the middle. Deliveries were noisy at 6:15am. We did eat in the restaurant and found it very expensive for the food we received. My husband’s lasagne was cold in the middle and was heated up for him.
