Duck Bay Hotel & Restaurant

Location and staff eccellent

Room dissapointing ... paid extra for balcony sea view but was all enclosed in felt like being in a gatden shed

It was an excellent full Scottish breakfast. Staff were helpful and friendly. The bathroom was good with an excellent shower.

The hotel architect needed shooting!........You had to walk outside in the rain to get from your room to the restaurant. There was a strange cavity in front of our balcony. This was not the fault of the hotel but you had to ask the question who on earth designed this building. The mirrors in the room were too low.

Staff, location, food, cleanliness, facilities

Lumpy mattress

Location was perfect. The room was spotless. Breakfast service was fast and the food was marvellous.

The bed was small

The location is great with views over Loch Lomond (on one side of the hotel) and you can walk around the Loch a bit too. Clean. Restaurant has great views of the loch.

Room was fantastically hot with a bathroom radiator that couldn't be turned off. Whilst the rooms and hotel all looked very new it gave a slight impression of having been a bit cheaply... The shower fittings were all very wobbly, the flat roof outside the window was poorly laid fake grass. But if you didn't look too closely it all looked very nice. There is a restaurant but it is separate from the hotel. So there's no hotel bar or seating area.
