Standing Stones Lodge

Die Lage war genau was wir gesucht haben, im Grünen und abgelegen. Die Hüttchen sind schön ausgerichtet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Parkplatz ist in umittelbarer Nähe zu den Hüttchen.

Der Innenbereich der Hüttchen war nicht sehr sauber (klebriger Boden/Oberflächen, schimmlige Fugen in der Dusche). Die Innenaustattung könnte aus unserer Sicht etwas optimiert werden (gemütlichere Gestaltung) - das ist jedoch persönlicher Geschmack.

Amazing staff, comfortable beds, great facilities. Awesome location. Fantastic property.

The rooms were comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good.

There could have been more toiletries and facilities in the bathroom, e.g. a heated towel rail.

The staff were extremely friendly and the food was good. The bed was comfy and the pod was clean.

There was no access to the hot Tub. Upon asking we were told it had to be booked separately from accommodation and 24 hours in advance - we thought it came with the pod. Nowhere on our booking site did it indicate that it came separately. No hot water in the pod in the morning at the wash hand basin. No TV - again, not stated on the booking site. Upon asking, we were told that you had to bring your own! Never have I stayed in a pod and had to bring my own TV! Guest Wifi wouldn't work & despite asking about this at reception - the issue wasn't resolved or no help given. We arrived for check-in at 6.40pm and told last orders in restaurant were at 7.15pm. This might be acceptable in winter, but not in the month of July. Equallly, bar was closing, so had to order a few drinks, just to keep us going.
