Old fashioned aspect although restaurant is of very high standard (Italian and SUN lunch).

Basic room (very old fashioned).

Location . Double room OK size & bed

Tiny shower, bedside lights not picking properly, heating not working & needed as big rokm in old building single room was tiny eith very narrow bed & big step into bathroom section & room was 2 long flights of stairs bathrrom double room gad tiny shower & nowhere to put towels or anything else . Wardrobe had 2 hangers single room had none Also restaurant was very slow service & had 2 ask several times for things, same as last time we were there or staff ignored us, waited for ages to be offered a drink & longer to get menus . Won't be staying there again

Nice comfy bed, quiet and decent shower

Staff were lovely and very helpful. Room we had was clean and spacious. Nicely decorated although bathroom somewhat dated. Location great, short walk to Penarth high street shops.

Nothing. Only minor issue was kettle in the room was too big to fit in sink to fill up and turning the bath taps only seemed to make shower work so resorted to filling it up by pouring water into it from a glass.
