The Mavila Sanur

Staff were so accomodating. From organising an airport pickup to making sure we had everything we needed to make our trip comfortable. Location wasn’t as close to beach as we thought but was so easy to get a grab cab and only a couple of dollars each time. Only reason no 10 was because pillows were rather firm and no other option but they tried to accommodate by sorting through reserves and finding the softest they had, so went above and beyond to help. We are back to stay again at end of our holiday before flying out and have already booked in our massages and airport driver for our return. Loved having private pool was so relaxing.

This was the only place that provided free TV (Netflix), so that was really nice to drown out other noises (which I'll describe in what I didn't like). It was also walking distance to some places to eat and they had sidewalks in the area which was a pleasant change from a lot of places we stayed in Bali.

The biggest issue we had here was the open sewage in the bathroom area. There is a pipe on the wrong side of the pea trap and going into either the toilet or shower was a horrid smell of raw sewage so we had to hold our breath whever we needed to use the restroom. Also, glass cups were provided in the sink area and my wife accidentally knocked one off which cost us about $12 USD which is rediculously expensive. Please switch to plastic cups. Also, they apparently do events like 17th birthday celebrations and weddings here so there was loud music playing until about 10pm. Then the neighbors were burning trash which got us up at around 1am to turn off the AC, but it got hot quick, so pulled blankets off only to get several mosquito bites, so turned AC on an hour later but couldn't get to sleep because another neighbor was hammering at 2am and couldn't sleep with the banging. Would not stay here again for all of these reasons.

The staff at the villa were absolutely wonderful. They were so thoughtful and made us feel very welcomed. the villa itself was lovely; very comfy bed and clean room.

The only downside to the villa was location. It’s about a 20min walk to the beach and the main strip. Although, the staff were pleasant and happy to arrange taxis for us :)

Very big space for a family of 4 to enjoy

The swimming is so deep, very unsafe for kids or even adults. Not suitable to bring kids and stay here

I liked how quiet the location was,the staff were amazing,it was clean and comfortable,breakfast was great,delivered any time you wanted kept i contact t with motel through what's app. The hotel was more than happy to do anything for you

The villa itself was comfortable and the pool great. Everything we needed was provided, The restaurant on site served meals at set times with drinks available throughout the day. Across the road was a restaurant and pizza bar which were both good. A convenience store was close by. The staff were very welcoming.

Area was more urban with no shopping nearby and only the two restaurants. Limited choices for breakfast which needed to be ordered the day before. The villas also host events and these occurred on both weekend nights. Music stopped at 10pm.
