Hayat Hotel

Bed was comfy and was en-suite. Gentleman at reception was friendly enough, showed us to our room, answered our questions but looked miserable like he didn’t want to be there. I liked the fact I could lock my door.

My room was too hot, the radiator was on (in summer!) and I couldn’t turn it off, tried to open the window but it was stiff and couldn’t open very far, it also didn’t close properly as the seal is broken. There was no hand wash or shower gel in the bathroom. The shower was at a scalding temperature!! Couldn’t cool the temperature down, was basically set to one temperature which I’m surprised didn’t burn me. Couldn’t watch certain channels on the tv and the signal was awful. The milk in the tea caddy was off so I couldn’t enjoy a cup of tea. The headboard in my friends room was broken and basically hanging off. Didn’t feel safe staying there as it’s basically a half way house for offenders and addicts!
