It was quiet The shower was good. The towels were large and fluffy It was lovely & clean Pillows and bedding lovely too. Tesco was nearby (no tables available in the restaurant & I didn't want to eat in the bar with other peoples noisy kids)

Booking.com reserved us a "double or twin" so we got a double when I reserved a twin. The loo seat was really broken. Housekeeping would definitely have known. There was no aircon- the room was very hot and stuffy.

"Ok to break a long journey.but arrived at 10 pm so didn't ask to change room....otherwise would have done.."

Location and price .value for money. Bar staff very helpful and friendly. Also reception staff responsive to my comments in morning.

Smell .Beds ok, big but a bit old . Curtains not hanging properly , needed new hooks in places. Room smelt of damp, smoke and bathroom smelt v powerfully of drains. Breakfast lacked cereals.
