Ideally located great accommodation

It does what it says on the tin. It’s a basic but clean small hotel that served our purpose of a bed for the night at a reasonable price. The linens and rooms were clean if a little dated but quite comfortable enough for what we needed. It’s attached to a Toby carvery which again offers great value for both dinner and breakfast. The staff were helpful and cheerful which was lovely to see.

The property didn’t have air conditioning and whilst they did provide fans in every room, it had been the hottest week of the year so far and a number of rooms faced directly into the sun which meant some where quite hot and stuffy. The windows would only open a little bit which I get from a health & safety perspective but it would have been nice to get more of a breeze through.

Very convenient location. Really clean. Good value for money.

Staff in the restaurant and on check in were hopeless, the room was basic but clean and good for a nights stay before an early morning flight

Didn't have breakfast, but evening carvery was excellent.

We booked a twin room over a month ago, but when we arrived were told they only have a double room. Surely as these double beds split into twin beds it could have arranged with a month's notice. If we had been advised at the time of booking we sTood place tostayould have found other accommodation. Apart from that the room was perfect.
