Good location for the lake, comfortable beds, good shower, wi fi and breakfast in quiet surroundings.

Beautiful location. My lovely, light room had two windows, and a stunning view across the village, countryside and alps. Quiet location, the main sounds being children playing. Close to Coppet train station.

The desk was in the only dark corner of the room, so I moved it under one of the windows. There was only one vegetarian dish on the menu in the restaurant and it was not particularly good.

A delicious Suisse Romande breakfast of Orange Juice, strong coffee, Croissant and Baguette, butter and jam served in the friendly setting of the Bistro. The village of Founex is a knockout and nearby is the beautiful town of Coppet. A completely revised Rue du Lac makes it easy to drive to Geneva.

Booking.com could have told us that we were meant to telephone the Patron on arrival and he would tell us the code to enter the hotel. Instead, we had to wait in the rain until 5 o'clock until the Auberge Communale de Founex officially opened because there was nobody. Such important information should be communicated in advance.

Breakfast was yummy cheese, meats and croissants. We loved the location and price. It is definitely a no frills place and that was perfect for our stay.
