Der Breitenbacher Hof in Fischenich ist in die Jahre gekommen. Wir kennen ihn seit 30 Jahren. Unschlagbar ist unverändert die ÖPNV Anbindung nach Köln und Bonn. Die Zimmer haben den Charme der 80er/90er Jahre, modernisiert und auf Zeitgeist gebracht, wurde hier lange nicht. Gelsenkirchner Barock und bahamabeiges Bad braucht kein Mensch mehr. Die Betten sind in Ordnung, die Zimmer geräumig und die Sauberkeit ist immer tadellos. Das Frühstück war übersichtlich, der Service kurz und knapp, aber nicht unfreundlich. Das Haus ist dann zu empfehlen, wenn man nur zum Schlafen hierher kommt, sich wenig im Zimmer aufhält und Wert auf eine gute ÖPNV-Anbindung legt. Nachtschwärmer sollten prüfen wann die letzte Bahn fährt.

Goeie locatie om de Keulen te bezoeken. De tram/trein stopt net ter hoogte van het hotel. Vriendelijk personeel. Alles in orde. We komen er al een 5 tal jaar om Gamescom te bezoeken met een vriendengroep. We komen volgend jaar zeker terug.

In de zomer veel te warme kamers. Er stond wel een ventilator, maar de temperatuur liet snel op tot een 28 graden. Een airco zou van pas komen of een muggengaas voor de ramen.

Das Frühstück war gut.

Personal- und organisatorisch bedingt musste ich bei Ankunft gegen 21.00 Uhr auf Herausgabe des Schlüssels warten. Die Adresse war verkehrsbedingt (Baustellen!) schwer zu finden. Parkplätze waren bereits fast alle belegt.

Das Zimmer war sauber Personal war freundlich und das Frühstück war sehr lecker
