"Charming room"

7.0

Our room and its facilities was very good as were all the staff

The food quality let it down which was a shame as reviews had praised it. Evening meal was .. ok..but not great. The breakfast was one that you ordered the night before, unfortunately some things were quite burnt, there is no excuse as you should never serve burnt food.

"An excellent stay and I shall definitely recommend and return with my husband."

10.0

I liked the friendliness of the staff. I loved the location. I liked the building and the rooms were beautifully decorated. I liked the large beds. I didn’t like the hard strip running down the middle of the bed. It could’ve been where they zipped or attached the beds together.

Nothing

"Best place ever stayed with our dogs.Amazing food, comfy plush rooms. Great staff. Brilliant."

10.0

Staff were brilliant especially Rebecca .Rooms very good sizes ,beds super comfy. Toilet ,shower facilities really new and clean. Bar and food just brilliant. All homemade and a cut above the normal. Service so friendly ,attentive. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit with the dogs and most deffo would recommend. Each room has its own access from outside. So no passing through a home to your room. Beautiful tended garden courtyard to look out on.Magnolia ,Cherry trees numerous gorgeous flowerbeds. Calmness, peaceful atmosphere. Walks nearby. Honestly the loveliest place we,ve ever stayed with dogs.

Nothing at all.

An inn that doesn't serve food or drink after 5pm on. Sunday! Why would you stay there? I didn't because I got fed up driving down single track roads that didn't lead to the place....I gave up looking for it!

"Would come again, and certainly hope to do just that."

Very good. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Breakfast set us up well for the day. Did not need lunch. Walk up to Combe Gibbet is fantastic, as was the car/road alternative. The landlord was especially welcoming both to us and our labrador dog.

Could not get the hang of the automated heating system and front light in the room, but that was probably down to me, because I didn't read the instructions in the welcome pack.

"Peaceful, clean, comfortable, and friendly."

Rooms are separated from the bar and restaurant area so that they are very quiet. Spotless. Friendly staff. Comfortable. Good parking. Lovely breakfast.
