COThe staff are friendly and welcoming, really enjoyed them. If you need help getting a ride (which happens) they will sort you out. The room was bigger than expected and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. A/C and hot water if you're into that; everything functions well. The bathroom is a bit small but oh well. Newtown is about a 15 minute walk or you can get a bus/colectivo on the main road. Lastly, the restaurant is amazing and fantastically priced. Lunch bowls, noodles, milk tea were all top notch and cheaper than anything you'll find in town. If I ever find myself in Mactan again I would definitely stay here.
