We booked the hotel for two nights. The hotel is located directly on the coast on a cliff and there are only two roads that lead to it. The hotel failed to inform us that the road from the Salerno direction was closed. We arrived only 500 meters from the hotel and saw that the road was completely closed due to construction works. It was impossible to pass even on foot. We asked the police and the firefighters for help, but they told us that it was not possible to reach the hotel from that side. By that time it was already too late to try the other road, as it would have taken us about two hours over the mountain. Despite the fact that we were unable to reach the hotel due to the road closure and the hotel’s failure to inform us in advance, they still charged us for the first night without providing any service. This is extremely disappointing and unacceptable.
