Beautiful old property in the heart of the town : very quiet and excellent breakfast. Parking available on site . It was a scorching hot day so the air con in our room much welcomed : ( garden suite ) Friendly welcome and helpful team

Maybe tea and coffee facilities in room would be good and a couple more glasses .

The location was perfect for exploring the old city center and proximity to the chateau and dining was excellent! Our room (actually a cottage) was perfect.

The ingress and egress into the parking area is tricky; especially on egress. The smaller the car, the better. The toilet is the worst one we encountered in our month long stay in France. It sprayed water everywhere even with the seat down. You literally had to wipe it down to make sure you didn’t get wet in the next use.

The location was ideal- central to everything we wanted to see and do in Amboise. Our room was large, and the bathroom setup was perfect (separate small room for the toilet, but still in the bathroom). My wife accidentally left something behind in the closet and the hotel staff notified us promptly so we could return and get it.

There are no coffeemakers or electric kettles in the rooms, nor are there mini-fridges. In fact, they discourage eating at all in the rooms. We often needed to get an earlier start so we could beat the tour buses to local sites. Breakfast wasn’t served until 8 at the hotel, so we had to find local boulangeries that opened earlier. Being able to have coffee right off the bat would have been nice. The floors are a bit squeaky, so not ideal if you’re someone who has to use the bathroom at night.

Amazing view of the Chateau, beautiful room, big claw foot tub and a laundry line available. All so well appointed and thoughtful. Lovely salon with tea available after dinner.
