Haweswater Hotel

The hotel is stylish and in a beautiful quiet location. The staff were friendly and always happy to help. We stayed in the High Street room which had an amazing view across the lake.

Staff were great and the restaurant first class

We were in a room on 2nd floor - low beams were an issue especially above toilet, and much of space could not be used. Little space between foot of bed and bathroom

Great place, lovely interior feel.

The quality of the food at breakfast could have been better - eg. better muesli rather than Alpen, better bread for the toast. I have been happy with less quantity. Dinner in the evening was rather expensive, perhaps we shouldn't have had puddings!

Prachtige locatie

The location and theme were fabulous, as was the restaurant. Great service from everyone in the staff (with a couple of small exceptions only).

There was no blind on the bathroom window, which kept us awake from 4am on both nights of our stay.

The best food in the UK is found at this truly hidden gem of a grand hotel expertly run by the staff.

There is nothing negative about this property.
