Continental breakfast Poor frozen croissant wheen heated soggy soft banana no cheese or meat would pay more for decent food had to order orange from bar buffet breakfast 5 out of 10

Parking facilities, location & area felt safe.. Staff helpful & friendly . Rooms just ok nothing special

Food quality wasn’t great! Bland & tasteless Wouldn’t eat there again

Location

Bed was very uncomfortable - very hard. I did look at mattress as felt like a hard camp bed and was amazed to find it had a mattress topper on it- it was clearly at the end of its functional life! Light bulbs in the console table light and over sink mirror lights did not work. Shower valve was faulty so set at boiling point. This meant a very late night shower was impossible and I had to ring reception desk to get staff to fix in the early morning. As there was no phone in the room, it meant I had to get dressed to go out in the hall to use an internal phone!

Place food

Gezellige Engelse sfeer.

Ontbijt begint pas om 08:00 en de bar sluit om 23:00.

Prima Engelse verzorging, gebouwd in stijl, een was prima.

De douche had alleen warm water, hebben we gemeld maar geen actie op ondernomen. Eerste dag moesten we onterecht bijbetalen voor het ontbijt.

The location and the room was very spacious

The mattress was extremely hard and uncomfortable and the bedding smelled damp

The room was clean and comfortable, the Carvery was clean and the staff friendly. Lot of local amenities and very easy transport links, with the nearest train station directly across the road. Also frequent bus service.

The bed was a little firm for my preference, though my wife found it comfortable.
