Mercator-Hotel

The bed was very comfortable and we liked the swimming pool area very much. The breakfast was also nice.

Maybe this is because it's in Germany, but the staff was not very friendly; they were polite though. We were two couples with two 4 year old boys, they were being kids and making noise, specially on the swimming pool. But as the swimming pool is next to the spa, they kept coming asking us to be quiet. At some point, we found it easier to just leave.

Disappointing (lack of) hospitality. Not even a bottle of water to welcome guests -- which would be nice, especially since the brown water was coming out of the faucet. No electronic receipt. I booked the room counting on having a swimming pool and sauna, but the day before arrival I was informed these were not operating. The hotel posts reception hours until 21:00, but I arrived at 17:05 and the staff had left for the day. I eventually got in, but it was not a good welcome.
