Hotel is in an excellent location for exploring Glencoe especially if you have a vehicle. Nearby Coop (food shop), visitor shop, cafes and watersports hire all positive. Massive parking area and a small loop walk in the grounds of the hotel. Room had a great view out over the water; nice tea/coffee setup! Modernised bathroom - done on the cheap but still nice.

A real shame as wanted to really like this hotel and return in the future - sadly the opposite after our stay. Value for money - tbh this is the biggest sticking point; it is absolulty not worth the £200 plus per night rate. There are better rooms in smaller hotels/inns locally that are much nicer and way cheaper. Cleanliness & maintenance - for this rate you expect a clean hotel; sadly it is very dated and dirty. High level cleaning in room and all communal areas including leisure is off the mark. Built up dust on signage and stairs, dirty towels left in corridors by housekeeping, water damaged walls and ceilings, floors that arnt clean and clumps of hair in the pool grates. It all adds up sadly and added together shows that no one is really looking or caring about the place. The whole hotel and leisure facilities shows a lack of investment by the company ...a full refurbishment given the income would make this an amazing place to stay. Comfort - the bed and pillows are old and worn; need replacing; sore necks all round. Breakfast - at 9am the breakfast buffet was a shambles, no care, no love and no topping up of anything other than the hot food. Hygiene of utensils and surrounds left a lot to be desired. So overall a very sad experience; at time of checkout another couple were making a complaint about poor value (relating to an included meal but nothing on the menu matched the price limit set - little sympathy there sadly) ... my top advice would be to spend your money on another option locally. Real shame!

Fantastic dinner

Schönes Hotel direkt am See. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet mit ausreichend Parkplätzen. Swimmingpool , bar, alles enthalten.

Mücken am See, aber das ist in schottland im Juni überall wo Wasser ist.
