The Hotel setting was really nice. Great view over the River Weser & of the road bridge towards Holzminden. The Bedroom was spacious, clean & the shower was powerful & hot. There was plenty of nice sounding food on the menu.

There was an overriding sense of glumness around the place. No-one seemed to be buzzing with enthusiasm. Not really quick on taking my food order or asking if I needed a refill before, during or after my meal. One of the younger Bar staff was smiley but I assumed that she was relatively new or only on a short-term deal...I believe it stemmed from the guy that I assumed was in charge, 'cos I didn't see him smile once & neither did he really acknowledge me.

View over the river Weser valley. Restaurant in the evening was open. Breakfast good. Covered bicycle parking.

Very noisy room onto the street.

Very good location and view. Room was small but clean and very quiet. The terrace of the restaurant is very nice because of the beautiful river view. Staff is nice and the breakfast buffet (not included) was good. Overall I can recommend the stay.

Would be nicer to have a double bed instead of a twin bed.

Getting taxi to this location was nightmare, plan your journey accordingly

Location, garage parking for Motorcycle. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff
