Nice and simple rooms. Beautiful terrace with a view. Good food. But what impressed us most was the friendliness and professionalism of the very young staff. Would return.

The digital light switches are stupid. I needed reading glasses to see where I had to touch on the touch panel to turn lights on. Good old fashioned light switches are a perfect user friendly technology that only digital fools think can be improved on. The stairs were steep and long. For a new three storey hotel not to have a lift is dumb. Every old person staying there struggled with the stairs, and said so to me, a fellow sufferer. Some of the young female staff were unwelcoming and unfriendly. I was made to feel a nuisance. I was unimpressed. By contrast one bright and brisk young man was far better at customer relations than his female colleagues. Taking care of your guests is your job, not some big favor you reluctantly do them. The attitude needs to improve. German hotels that still persist with the old fashioned feather down pillows are behind the times. Feather down pillows squash too easily and fail to support the head. Get proper pillows that support the head. The walls were stark and mostly pictureless. Not cosy. Get a few pictures.
