El Roble Hotel

Close to town and close to a very good breakfast place (Habacalar). It was clean (enough) and good value for money.

Sometimes, there was too much noise in the corridor outside our room and the hot water was used up too quickly.

Very friendly staff. Location is convenient. About 15 mins walking distance from centro. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Hot water is great!

Dirty sheets covered in stains. They said we could move rooms but the sheets in the new room were even worse. The staff don't seem eager to help or engage with customers. There was a pigeon living on the window ledge in the bathroom and the window couldn't be closed. The toilet wouldn't flush properly and we had to fill the bin with water and pour it down. The aircon is very loud

Comfortable, big room, etc.

Lovely boutique style hotel. It had a welcoming atmosphere and was very comfortable. They stayed up very late to greet us and were very helpful and friendly. Price excellent.

No kettle in room but hot water available near by.

The properly had friendly and helpful staff, on the second day we asked to change rooms and they accommodated us greatly. The beds were comfortable and the spaces were clean and spacious. In our second room there was space to hang our clothing which was great. The location is about a 15 minute walk from the town which was not an issue for us as it’s all flat! Also close to the lake and activities. Also free coffee and water provided as well as access to a microwave! Upstairs also has a terrace space to use.

The wifi was a little hit and miss. The shower would not stay warm sadly. The property is in a residential area and one of the property next to the hotel was rather loud (that isn’t the hotels fault of course). There was also a card charge that we were not made aware of prior.

Parking area, quiet place. Well situated, only 15 min walking from the city center.

Cute cozy room that was well cleaned. This hotel is very good value for money and we loved the room. Complimentary coffee, tea and fresh water all day. Very welcoming hostess.

Of course you know this when booking but good to be aware that it is not directly located at the lake and there's not too much public access to the lake.
