The Duke of Bedford

The outside patio for eating and having a drink were very nice and the grounds and hotel were well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We had a room that was on the side of the busy road and we heard trucks all night long. We could also hear furniture being moved around within the hotel. We really didn't sleep well. We found out that there were garden rooms and wondered why we weren't offered one of those rooms as it wasn't full, being a Sunday night. We also had to ask if there was off street parking, we weren't told about it by reception. There were some locals drinking on the pavement opposite the hotel so we were glad that we could park in the grounds.

Decor and garden is beautiful

Although our room was beautiful it was noisy and small for a couple but then we were only there for one night and the hotel was full.

The breakfast was amazing. I loved and enjoyed the duke

Maybe if you could have landline phones in the room so we can call when we want to order
