GBGBGBI prefer staying in pubs, as long as they serve real ale. The Ram's landlord is an enthusiast as well as keeping it very well, so that ticked several boxes for me. The real highlight of my stay was that I was given a room in the wonderful Georgian building across the road - a former hotel that the owners are gradually refurbishing. I'm very interested in history and architecture, so that was a delight - it was also very quiet and the the bed was very comortable, all of which gave me the really good night's sleep that I desperately needed, as I had had a very long day and had ridden more than 300 motorcycle miles. On the Monday, I learned that Brandon is a very interesting town with a long history, whose main industries were flint and rabbit farming, and that Grimes Graves, a neolithic flint mining site was nearby. That was a must-visit for me but I lost my bearings in Thetford Forest because of road closures but the upside was that I explored Thetford Forest and the Breckland before finding Grimes Graves, which was wonderful and the highlight of the whole trip for me. Hot tip: use an OS map or similar and get your bearings very clear in your mind before you set off for GG!
I skipped a meal on Sunday evening, so a breakfast might have been good but that wasn't a deal-breaker for me. There are anyway Chinese and Indian restaurants and much more in a short walking distance from The Ram.

Um horror , paguei não dormi no quarto, devido falta de higiene,.... booking não avalia os hotéis, então envia os clientes para autenticas pocilgas... não vou efetuar nem mais um pagamento adiantado neste site, não são de confiança...
