Nothing, as it was really well presented.
NLGood enough for what I needed, a good night sleep. Room and bathroom looked clean, a bit dusty perhaps.
Had to pick-up the key down stairs in the pub. The room was fine. There was no breakfast option. And I had to drop my door key some where (unclear where) as i left around 8.00h in the morning, and no one was there intill noon.

NLHet is een karakteristiek Hotel boven een PUB. Als je tijdens je verblijf graag lokale mensen wil ontmoeten onder het genot van een drankje is dit een prima plek om te verblijven. In de kamer hadden we geen overlast van de PUB.
Als je, je er van bewust bent dat dit een hotel uit de 17de eeuw is, zijn er geen tegenvallers. De deuren zijn laag, dus bukken en hier en daar loopt het wat scheef, maar dat geeft ook weer de traditionele sfeer weer. De kamer was ruim en de voorzieningen goed.

We arrived late, got there just before 9pm and cooked food for us , the food was excellent, i had scampi and chips and my husband had fish and chips, it was definitely not a frozen fish portion! (Kitchen closed at 9.) The staff couldn't do enough for us, very welcoming, humble and like we'd known them for years. The room was very spacious, quite a lot of steps but was worth it, the old features with the beams in the attic and sash windows. The bed was comfortable, with a nice clean en-suite. Would definitely return if we was across that way. Ideal if your going to a wedding at Hockwold Hall.
Only thing id say is there was no wardrobe, but for a 2 night stay it wasn't a problem.
