Hotel Decebal

The size of the room was decent. There were 2 extra blankets available, which helped a bit with the cold. A minifridge was available and it did not make any noise. The reception lady had a pleasant demeanor. The price was acceptable, though considering the overall experience, it should have been lower.

- The room heating was off until 8 PM, and then it was turned off again during the night. I woke up at 3 AM because the room was freezing cold and noticed the heater had been switched off - it was ICE COLD. For context, the outside temperature was around 3 degrees Celsius. It was not much better inside without heating. - There was no air conditioning unit in the room, so using it for heating wasn’t an option. This also means there’s no cooling available during summer. - The blanket provided was suitable for one person, despite the bed being queen-size (double). - The sheets and coverlet had a few holes in them. - In the bathroom, hot water came only after running the tap for over 20 minutes. - The sink faucet water pressure was too high while the shower pressure was too weak. - Bathroom had a persistent damp smell. - No shampoo available (just some hand soap) - WiFi signal was extremely poor - either the hotspot wasn’t visible or there was no internet access after connecting. - Poor noise isolation - you could hear other guests talking. - The receptionist was often absent from the front desk.
