The temperature in my room was nothing short of a furnace - the bedside fan served no purpose at all. I know it was exceptionally hot but i think the hotel need to think about investing in portable air-con units. I literally could have passed out in there, it was so hot i vacated my room at 04.30am for respite

Rooms was tiny and window wouldn't stay open on one of the hottest days of the year. The whole place was grubby, tables outside hardly ever cleared and definitely never wiped down.

GBCheck in procedure was easy and the staff were very helpful. The room was clean and spacious. The evening meal was very good and once again the staff were very helpful.
I stayed at The Cheshire Cat on the night that England played their first game in the World Cup. I watched the first half of the game in my room and at half time I went to the bar for a drink. The staff were still behind the bar but they refused to serve me because it was 10.10pm and the bar closed at 10.00pm. Even as a hotel guest I was unable to get a drink after 10.00pm which, in my opinion, is totally unacceptable.
GBGBBeautiful place situated in a lovely rural spot. Gardens to sit in stunning. Staff absolutely brilliant. Food excellent. Room spacious clean overlooking garden had room for the three of us. Beds clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee set up on room table. We loved it all.

Shabby, tiny and very very hot room. There was a fan in the room but that didn’t do much. It was 10 degrees hotter in the room than outside. We attempted to sleep with the window open but the noise of the kitchen extractor kept us awake. Bed really hard. All in all we felt like we were being tortured so we left after the first night.
