The Eagle Hotel

Breakfast was good with plenty of choices quickly served by an attentive waitress. The bar had a really good range of whiskies fairly priced.

Stayed in room number six "Dalwhinnie" and when going to bed at eleven o'clock there was this terrible buzzing sound as a fan or something was switched on somewhere in the hotel. It kept me awake for more than an hour so I had to walk downstairs to the reception area where I told a person (employee) sitting in the whisky bar with friends that something had to be done! After a while the buzzing sound finally ceased so I could manage to sleep. My bed was a bit wabbly and "shaky" as well, so not my best sleeping experience. In my opinion the stay was a bit overpriced compared to other places we stayed in during our 11 days break in Scotland.

Location was good

Ein netter typischer Inn, mit sehr nettem Personal und leckerem Pub-Essen. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und die Betten sehr bequem.

Wir hatten das Zimmer Nr. 6. Dort hat das laute Brummen der Lüftung aus der Küche sehr gestört.

Although had not planned to, ate there on the evening, great meal, and also really enjoyed breakfast next morning, also enjoyed whiskey cocktails that were available at the bar, parked for free at public car park, 2 minutes from hotel

Comfortable room and good food

Fire door at top of stairs needs a new closer to stop it banging

Excellent location and good food- both for dinner and breakfast

Shower could have been better
