Hotel du Nord, Hamburg-Volksdorf

Die Anreise war unkompliziert und das einchecken war super unkompliziert und die Empfangsdame wahnsinnig nett und herzlich. Waren abends noch im angrenzenden Restaurant essen, auch dort alle wahnsinnig nett und herzlich. Hatten viel Spaß im Restaurant ! Das Essen war perfekt. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, die Angestellten super nett. Man konnte selbst Waffeln backen, die sehr lecker waren. Die Zimmer waren auch sehr schön und die Betten bequem. Die Lage des Hotels fanden wir, auch mit Hund, perfekt ;-)

Allt var perfekt! Trevligt personal, fint inredda och välstädade rum, bra läge, gratis parkering. Jättebra mat i restaurangen och på frukosten!

Nice and quiet in a fantastic neighborhood

In general the hotel was excellent, the rooms were beautiful, large and the staff were very accommodating. We were a large family who had booked about 7/8 rooms in total for a family wedding nearby and this hotel was in the perfect location. The bar staff were friendly whenever we wanted to pop down for a quick drink and the reception staff were always on hand to help. It took a little while to arrange small things like breakfast but in the grand scheme of things we enjoyed our stay, and would definitely stay again.

We ordered breakfast to our room one morning, and were told that it was too much to bring upstairs. That morning was the only morning we ordered breakfast, and needed it as we were all ready for a family wedding. There was no time to go down to eat and this was one of the services provided by any hotel we've ever stayed out so this comment was concerning to me. The lift was broken which we understand isn't anyone's fault but for the elderly this could have been problematic.
