The Cottages at Captain Gosnold Village

Cozy and quiet cottages. Walking distance to the beaches. We loved the birdsongs and woke up to that every day instead of an alarm.

Nothing comes to mind.

Really loved the location and the cottage was great.

There was an issue with a contractor that was working on another unit and they had their electrical cords plugged into the outlet on the porch area of the unit we rented. There was a compressor running and tools and scrap materials all over the grass area in front of our unit. We weren't really sure why they couldn't have used an outlet on another unit. But they were there for 3 of our 4 days there. They also parked their contractor trailer and their vehicles in our spots. I did make the property manager aware and I took photos of the construction site that was directly on our front porch. They said that they would be contacting the contractor to get the work and the electric saws and tables and compressors and scrap out of the way of our walk-way. However, they never removed any vehicles and they didn't stop. On Monday morning of our stay, they were right back in the front area and had the compressor plugged into the outlet on our unit porch. I actually woke up to the compressor starting up. Honestly it was really awful because this is an off season time and there had to be plenty of other units to use the outlets on them and they would be vacant. I got a lot of apologies, but no outcomes. I really thought it was frankly completely unacceptable. However, we loved the cottage and we did not pay that much to be there for the three nights. The contractors never stopped or moved. The only day that they were not there was Sunday. We were there Friday night, Saturday night, Sunday night and left on Monday.

location was great, in the middle of Provincetown, Martha’s Vineyard, and Nantucket.
